Corrections policy
How to report an error, and how we correct it in public.
Information that is wrong, outdated or poorly sourced must be corrected quickly and visibly.
- Report: write to contact@europeexplained.eu with the page concerned and, if possible, a primary source.
- Check: the claim is compared with the official sources cited on the page.
- Correct: the page is updated, its update date changes, and a substantive error gets a note at the bottom of the page saying what changed and when.
Typos are fixed without a note. Disagreements of opinion are not errors: they belong to the presentation of viewpoints, which we attribute to their authors.
